SWEET ALPAGA is a brand created in LYON – France with ethical values, which chooses to enhance a noble and natural fiber : Baby Alpaca from Peru, and offer a collection of quality, for the home and for fashion.
One of the brand's objectives is to enhance traditional methods, while favoring the local population. We are therefore surrounded by partners whose employees are fairly compensated and / or who participate in education programs for young children. All woven pieces (plaids, scarves, stoles) are produced in southern Peru.
SWEET ALPAGA also designs and makes sweaters, jackets and ponchos. This collection is produced in limited series, in Lyon – France and evolved according to our desires and the links we forge with our customers.
Colors of the yarn are largely natural, due to the very wide variety of colors in the alpaca. The dyed yarns are made from low impact dyes, without harmful azo chemicals. The alpaca yarn used by SWEET ALPAGA is certified in accordance with REACH and OEKO TEX 100 standards.
